The J&K government today announced ex Gratia compensation upto 30 Lakhs to the State government employees, Security personnels among others who loose Thier lives while on election duty.
According to an order no.592 of 2019 dated : 17-05-2019, the employee who dies during election duty due to violent acts of extremists or militants shall recieve an ex gratia compensation of 30 Lacs, those who die during election duty due to natural cause shall get an ex gratia compensation of 15 lacs. Government also announced ex gratia for permanent disability to the employees.
